Men and Female plays an important role in Nursing but Perspective is different

In today’s world day by day male nurses had come at the lower level because they perceive a strong societal link between Nursing and femininity which deters them from taking it up.

Last year NHS (National Health Service) Study said that there was still a stigma attached to men in nursing and there were not enough role models to challenge this. It also said, that focus groups suggested men take longer to mature than women and do not realize that Nursing is a suitable career for them at a young age.

If we saw this condition in graph perspective we found that last year around 65,000 nursing staff is there across the country out of this the number of male nurses for 10% had come at the lower level of seven years.

Lecturer Richard Craven (Dundee University School of Nursing) has been doing research into why men are not applying to do nursing. He went to Raith Rovers against Brechin City to talk to male football fans about nursing. Some said the career was considered feminine and they would not go into it but others agreed there should be more men involved.

Mr. Craig Orr   work in the Royal Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy, he is the only male nurse on his ward.  And he said in an interview that in hospital. There are approximately just over 50 members of staff is there and I'm the only male nurse over there.  But some Studies have suggested that the men view nursing as a worthwhile career with good progression opportunities.

Now the men as well as women have begun to find a great satisfaction in becoming nurses and men are considering nursing as a second career.

If we compare, male nurse also play an important role in the field of Nursing because they ensures that male patients are well represented, and that male healthcare needs are fully understood. It is also becoming increasingly recognized that men, like women, have care-giving strengths and skills that can make nursing an excellent choice for them.

If we talk about the salary then Male earn more than Female and there is not a large gap between their income but female nurses earn 91 cents for every dollar earned by their male counterparts.
